High Salvington’s Windmill is flying ‘mourning’ sails following the death of Prince Philip.
It is a long tradition that when a someone in a community dies, the blades of the sails are placed in a close-to-perpendicular position.
And on the passing of the Duke of Edinburgh, the team at High Salvington Windmill Trust set the sails to the mourning position, where they will remain until after his funeral on Saturday (April 17).
