Moving tribute
Purple poppies were introduced in 2006 by Animal Aid to remember and raise awareness of the animal ‘victims of war’.
I understand that more are featured around the town including the cathedral, St Nicholas Church, the museum and Duff Gallery.

Hide AdIt is gratifying to see animals remembered and included in Arundel’s First World War commemorations, which will also be a part of the Gallery Trail during the Arundel Festival
Throughout history, animals have been innocently caught up in human conflict!
Their role played a vital part and their loyalty and bravery will never be forgotten.
I would like to say thank you and well done, Arundel, for including those animals who served.
