The prosecution, authorised by the CPS, follows an investigation by East Sussex detectives after information was received from a member of the public on March 24 and officers arrested Constable at his then address at Pagham Close in Eastbourne.

Police say that Constable, who is currently on court bail, does not currently live in Sussex and that nobody at the Eastbourne address has any connection with the alleged offence.
