Eastbourne artists wanted for Spring Open Houses

Eastbourne artists can now register for the Spring Open Houses, which takes place in and around the town this April.

The event will run over two weekends – April 4-5 and April 11-12 – and offers a great way for creators to show and sell their work directly to the public.

Artists can download a comprehensive free guide, ‘Participating in Open House/Studio events’, from www.eastbourneartists.com.

Registration is open until February 26 and people can apply now on the website.

    A spokesperson for Eastbourne Artists said: “Several artists have already registered including painter Alice Hesketh who will be opening her studio in Wish Road. The Birley Centre will host an exhibition of new work from Lindy Dunbar and the Big House in Prideaux Road will host an array of artists and makers. Previous participant Angie Elliot, who is a milliner, will be running a talk about the History of Hats. Any questions about participating, please call Julian on 01323 749708.”
