UPDATE: Three taken to hospital after Langney crash

Three people have been taken to hospital after an accident in Langney this afternoon (March 11).

The accident, which closed the A259 between the Langney Roundabout and Castle Drive in Pevensey, involved a car and a van.

A man in his 70s suffering from chest pains and a man in his 80s with a possible head injury were taken to Conquest Hospital in Hastings following the crash.

A third patient was also taken to Conquest hospital for observation.

The road has now been cleared and reopened.
