Hellingly and Horsebridge

FARMHOUSE BREAKFAST 2016: we are pleased that once again this popular event in Hellingly has been very strongly supported and we cooked over 200 breakfasts. All the main ingredients are sourced locally to showcase suppliers from the area.

This event is in aid of the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Association and £1600 was raised. This year a lot of money has been spent nationally to help the Cumbria farmers who suffered so much in the recent floods and to help them get back on their feet. RABI doesn’t give money for business expenses but to help with food etc.

Apart from this emergency, money is available to help farmers and farm workers who fall on hard times.
