Take part in open-air dance event in Horsham

A dance school is hoping members of the public will join them this Saturday as they waltz into town to promote their upcoming dance classes.

The open-air event will run from 11am to 2pm in the small performance area between Esquires Cafe and the steps to Sainsbury’s in The Forum.

Chris Lockey, principal of Dance Days which teaches ballroom and Latin dancing at Faygate Village Hall, said: “The plan is to demonstrate the various ballroom and Latin dances, a bit like a Saturday dance but with a commentary.

“The more people we can have dancing the better. Ability is not important. Our aim is to show the public that dancing is fun and enjoyable.

“Members of the public will be invited to join particularly with a number of line dances.”
