From water slides, bouncy castles and tug-of-war games, to messy play, tree swings and den building. They will even be able to learn some circus skills and magic tricks on the day, too.

Guests at the free event will include Arun District Council’s chairman Ann Smee, chief executive Nigel Lynn and Littlehampton mayor Emma Neno.

Nigel said: “We’re delighted to be supporting this national event through our Playrangers scheme. It’s the start of the summer holidays and we hope lots of children come along to enjoy a couple of hours of free fun.”

Playday is a national awareness raising campaign co-ordinated by Play England.

The campaign aims to encourage children to get out, play more and enjoy the outside.
