ZIGGY'S GOT STAR QUALITY

A TALENTED Littlehampton water polo player has been chosen for the British squad.

Ziggy Tate (16) is training hard and hopes to compete in the European Championships in Belgrade in July next year- but he urgently needs a sponsor.

"Water polo is being included in the Olympics for the first time in 2012 and that is my long-term aim," he said.

"But there is absolutely no funding in this country for the sport , and entry fees, travel and training costs are all expensive. If a local business or company could sponsor me it would make a big difference," he added.

Ziggy's ability is not in question. He has been swimming since he was five years old and playing water polo for around five years.
