WICK ARE ALMOST THERE

WICK are on the verge of returning to Division 1 and could do it at Crabtree Park this Easter weekend. The title is still yet to be decided and Wick boss Andy Gander hopes to have silverware coming to Crabtree Park. He said: "When we are promoted we can start to look for the title. That's what we have to set our sights on when the first part of our job is done."

It took a 68th minute Chris Morrow goal to give Wick victory at fourth-placed St Francis on Saturday. Morrow struck from 18 yards through a crowded area after Marc Cooper's cross fell kindly.

St Francis never really threatened Wick and keeper Simon Davey gave a faultless display.

Tony Miles went close with a header from Cooper's cross in the first half and Tom Manton struck the bar early in the second period.
