'Thierry' the Willingdon hero
FRENCHMAN Adel Robio El Makrai was again the hero as Robert Gray & Co Mid-Sussex League side Willingdon Athletic won through to the semi-finals of the Sussex FA Intermediate Cup with a 2-1 win over Three Bridges 2nds on Saturday.
Willingdon secretary Brian Kensett said: 'We call Adel our Thierry Henry, he's a lovely lad who is studying over here and delivering pizzas in the evenings.
'We've beaten the reserve sides from Chichester, Crowborough and Three Bridges so far and now play Peacehaven at Hailsham under floodlights in the semi-finals on Tuesday, March 7.'
