Regattas contested in ideal weather conditions

ROWING fans were in their element at the weekend as the town regattas took to the water in Hastings and Bexhill.

Sparkling sunshine made for perfect weather conditions on both days as crews from Dover in the east to Worthing in the west lined up for the Coast Amateur Rowing Association fixtures.

The Hastings Regatta got under way on Saturday and the Bexhill Regatta was contested the next day.
