THE Bexhill & District Primary Schools Sports Association's Indoor Netball Tournament proved to be a resounding success on Saturday.

The event, held at Phillimore Hall, Bexhill College and Bexhill High School, brought together ten schools from the area and an enjoyable morning was had by all.

The eventual winners were St. Peter and St. Paul who triumphed over Pebsham in the final, having seen off St. Mary Magdalen in the semis. Pebsham booked their spot in the final after overcoming Little Common in the last four.

Event organiser Lisa Windsor said: "It was very good - the children enjoyed it." She also wanted to extend her thanks to students from Bexhill High School who umpired the group games. Chantry, Sidley, All Saints (Sidley), King Offa, Charters Ancaster and Battle Abbey also took part.
