Horseball is taking off locally
A NEW, fast-growing sport called Horseball has come to Sussex, thanks to Karen Sartain, who is based at the Sussex Stud, West Grinstead.
Karen has been teaching people to ride for most of her life, but having read about Horseball, she wanted to know more. It is an exciting sport which comprises teams of up to six riders, with a ball with handles used to pass from player to player, culminating with scoring through a one metre suspended hoop.
Sussex Horseball Club is holding an Open day on Saturday April 24 at West Grinstead Stud from 12 noon until 3pm and Karen would love to hear from anyone wishing to attend.
