Manager John lambert made one change from Towns last match with Jack Langford retuning to the starting line up in place of Tyler Scrafton.

Town got off to a bright start forcing 2 corners in the minute. The first corner came after a foul by Lincoln Miller on Dan Rogers, Rogers himself headed just over from 6 yards.

A few minutes later Rogers again found space from a free kick but shot straight at Jordon Matthews in the Pagham goal. This could have mattered shortly afterwards when Toby Fuller broke away but shot wide of Chris Winterton’s right post.

After 15 minutes a Brad Prichard corner was meet by Rogers again but he headed straight at Matthews. Town were now well on top when a couple in minutes later a Simon Johnson cross towards Jack Langford but he was unable to connect with a header and Matthews put the ball out for a corner, Johnson took and Sam Cole headed straight at Matthews again.

Another super town move saw some nice passing by Johnson, Cole and Attwood saw Langford shot over the bar. Then a vicious Aaron Capon shot was well punched over the bar by Matthews. Town had been so far on top their supporters were beginning to wonder if it wasn’t be be their day, however, moments later a Attwood stuck his boot out to a Langford cross which connected and looped over the despairing Matthews for a cheeky goal.

On 41 minutes town broke through and Matthews who tangled with Langford referee Wilkes ruled no penalty within seconds Wilkes judged that Matthews had Felled Capon and was pointing to the spot. Up step Attwood who beat Mathews from 12 yards.

Attwood was in fine form and 2 minutes later completed his first half hat trick as the Pagham defence stood still he reacted first and the ball was in the back of the Pagham net again.

This was all to much for Matthews who kicked the ball at Johnson and spoke out of turn to referee Wilkes we had the extremely unusual sight of goalkeeper Mathews being sent to the sin bin with centre half Joe Clarke taken the gloves for 10 minutes. As Wilkes blow the half time whistle.

Town failed to take advantage of Matthews sitting on the naughty chair With Clarke making a couple of decent saves and not really looking out of place.

Pagham had more of the second half with town happy to see the match out manger Lambert used all his three subs and as much as Pagham had the ball they didn’t really make it pay with Winterton mainly a spectator.

As the match finish ten against ten for the last few minutes without incident.
