Sussex star rapped by ECB after T20 game
The ECB Cricket Discipline Commission says Ben Brown has received a penalty under the ECB's discipline code.
Brown was reported by umpires Nick Cook and Rob Bailey during Sussex’s NatWest T20 Blast match against Gloucestershire last Friday for a level one breach of the code – showing dissent at an umpire’s decision by word or action.
The penalty for this offence is a reprimand.
This penalty will remain on his record for a period of two years and the accumulation of nine or more penalty points in any two year period will result in an automatic suspension.
Sussex, who beat Gloucs on Duckworth-Lewis, are not in T20 action again until next Wednesday, June 1.
