This victory continues Oathall’s strong winning streak in this area of the sport following the success of Oathall’s U15 team who went on to become national champions in last year’s competition.

Miss Laura Gyngell, PE teacher said, “I was nervous about our chances of success in this round of the competition as we were up against some really strong teams from Bedes, Warden Park and Sir Robert Woodard Academy. I was really pleased with how strongly we played with some exciting and enthralling performances from team members. In the end we beat Sir Robert Woodard Academy on overall runs scored by 309 to 282. We now go on to represent Sussex in the regional finals where we compete against schools from London and the Home Counties.”
