CHANNON ENJOYS TRAINER TROPHY TRIUMPH FOR SECOND TIME

GOODWOOD'S coveted trophy for the most successful trainer of the season has been won this year by Mick Channon.

The fight for the Rolls Royce Dick Hern Awarde went right down to the final race of the day of the last meeting at Goodwood this season.

The day has started out with Sir Michael Stoute in the lead with a number of trainers, including Mick Channon and past winner Amanda Perrett of Pulborough, still able to reach or overtake him.
