Big 10K under starter’s orders

The eighth running of the Big 10K will take place on Bexhill seafront tomorrow (Sunday) morning

Set to attract a healthy three-figure field, the popular race will get underway from outside Coast Bar & Grill on the seafront from 10.30am.

It will take place over a primarily fast and flat course along the seafront, with the ascent of Galley Hill the only climb for the runners to contend with.

Ideal for runners of all standards, registration will take place in Coast Bar & Grill from 8.45am and day entries will be accepted at a cost of £20.

Children’s races over shorter distances will take place before the main 10K event from 10am. Entry for these is on the day at a price of £3.

The Big 10K forms part of the Bexhill Runners Seafront Series, which also consists of three midweek evening 5K races during May, June and July, as well as the Poppy Half Marathon in November.
