Arundel become Pagham's first victims

PAGHAM Cricket Club put a huge dent in Arundel's aspirations to stay in Division 1 on Saturday when they won for the first time this season.

Victory over bottom-club Pagham would have lifted Arundel out of the bottom two, above Broadwater.

Arundel took eight points from the match which moved them seven points closer to Broadwater, who were comprehensively beaten by title-chasing Crawley Eagles.

However, Ansty won for the second consecutive week to move 31 points clear of Arundel. They beat Henfield by four runs after being dismissed for just 93.
