As part of McDonald’s January giveaway, customers can get a wide range of hot drinks for free - but only for today.

The fast-food chain has said that it will offer customers 24 deals over 23 days, running from 4 to 26 January.

McDonald's January advent calendar giveaway has already seen McMuffins given away for free, alongside Big Macs and Veggie Dippers being sold for just 99p each.

Which hot drinks can I get for free?

This deal is valid for 7 January only, but covers the entire hot drinks menu.

This means you can get anything from tea and coffee to Millionaire's Lattes, Flat Whites, Toffee Lattes, Hot Chocolate and Cappuccinos.

This one-day hot drink giveaway comes after McDonald's recent announcement that they have improved their current hot drink reward scheme, which previously saw customers having to buy seven hot drinks to get one for free, but now you only need to buy five.

How can I get the deal?

In order to get the deal you need to have downloaded the free McDonald's app, before then ordering your chosen beverage either in branch or en route one.

However, This deal is not available when ordering on Uber Eats.

Ben Fox, marketing director for McDonald's UK&I said: "We’re excited to offer customers 24 deals over 23 days to brighten up the month of January.

"The daily deals are exclusively available through the My McDonald’s App, which also enables our customers to beat the queue, enjoy table service, customise orders and remember their favourite orders."
