Sushi Daily is recalling a batch of its jars of Sushigari (ginger) because the product may contain small pieces of glass.

Clearly this makes the product, sold at their kiosks in some Waitrose and Sainsbury’s stores, unsafe to eat and presents a safety risk.

The products in question are 140g jars with Best before dates of 02/06/201 and Batch code: 18081.

No other Sushi Daily products are known to be affected. A company spokesperson said "Sushi Daily would like to apologise to their customers for the inconvenience this will cause."
