Youngsters catch a taste of Olympics in Bognor Regis

Dozens of young children have taken part in their own Olympics in Bognor Regis.

Their mini version of the games took place during the latest summer holiday club at the Opengate Church (Bognor Regis Baptist Church).

They enjoyed field and track events as well as plenty of running.

The Going for Gold holiday club was the 11th of the late August events to be held at the Victoria Drive church. Each day saw 44 five to 11 year olds go along for the fun. They were looked after by 40 adults and young people linked to the church.

The club ended with a barbecue where the children entertained their parents and other adults with performances of the songs they had learned earlier in the week amid their athletic activities.
