Updated: Car in hedge following Ninfield crash

A car ended up stuck in a hedge following a crash in Ninfield this lunchtime (Wednesday, April 6).

Police were called after the car left the A269 Standard Hill shortly after 1pm.

One passing motorist told the Observer: “I saw a car upside down in the hedge.

“Its boot was on the ground and its bonnet was up in the air.”

No other vehicles were involved in the incident.

A man, believed to be aged around 20 years old, suffered pain in his lower back following the incident.

He was assessed by paramedics but refused hospital treatment.
