Two hurt in Bury Hill car/tractor crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a serious road crash on the A29 at Bury Hill on Friday (October 17).

Just after midday a blue Subaru car and a tractor with a trailer were in collision. A passenger in the car was taken by ambulance to St Richard's Hospital in Chichester with minor injuries. The driver had to be freed by firefighters, helped by the ambulance service, and was taken by air ambulance to St Richard's.

Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have seen the blue Subaru or tractor in the Bury area before the collision should telephone the Chichester road policing unit on 0845 60 70 999, quoting Operation Yarrow.
