Tree is vandalisedin churchyard

Vandals have caused damage to a mature ash tree at Icklesham churchyard.

Rector Hugh Moseley said: “Axes were stolen from a local property and may have been used to cause the damage. The tree may die.

“I would ask those who walk through the churchyard to be vigilant and inform police of any suspicious behaviour.”
