Temporary speed limits on the A259
A TEMPORARY but mandatory 50mph speed limit is to be imposed on a stretch of the A259 Barnhorn Road near its junction with Coneyburrow Lane. The limit will apply to both carriageways, be clearly signed and comes into force on Monday, March 14.
For two nights during the four-week period beginning on Monday, March 28 motorists using the A259 near Coneyburrow Lane between 8pm and 6am should be alert to a temporary 40mph limit being imposed on both carriageways while overnight cabling work takes place. For enquiries, call 01306 878319.
