Teenagers injured after car rolls onto its side in Haywards Heath

Two teenagers were hurt after a car collided with a telegraph pole and ended up on its side in Haywards Heath on Saturday (March 5).

The incident happened on the A273 Isaacs Lane at about 10.45pm.

The blue Vauxhall was travelling southbound when it struck the pole near the junction with Traunstein Way.

Police closed the road temporarily while the vehicle was recovered and highways workers cleared mud from the road.

Two people, aged 17 and 18, were taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with minor injuries.
