Sun seekers hit beach at Camber Sands

Rother Council figures estimate 15,000 people at Camber on Sunday - more than attended the big Pirate Day event at Hastings the same day.

Eleven missing children were re-united with their families during the day.

A Rother Council spokesman said: “Rother District Council and police continue to work together under Operation Radcott to keep people safe at Camber and enjoying their visit to the seaside.”
