Steyning to host its very first Italia Piazza in foody event

The Italia in Piazza mission is to share their passion for food

The event has been organised by Steyning and District Community Partnership in association with Horsham District Council.

Reina Alston, one of the directors of the Partnership said: “We are looking forward to this first Italian Market and hope that it may become a regular feature in our calendar of events for Steyning and the district.

“New ideas to create variety and interest in our town are always welcome. It will attract both new faces and local residents to come and enjoy not only the market, but our superb eateries and Sunday-opening shops.

“We are confident that this small ‘taste’ of our area, will ensure visitors return to see and sample more of our district in the future.”

The Italian market will be offering products ranging from meats, cheeses, olives, pasta, olive oil, focaccia and much more.

No need to cross the channel, just jump in a car and head for Steyning.

Authentic, enthusiastic Italian stall holders will be ready to share their infinite knowledge of their homeland food with you, plus Euros are not needed.

The market takes place on Sunday July 20, 10am to 4pm, on Steyning High Street.
