Sixth formers charge to semi-finals
AS the England Rugby Union team makes a hash of the Six Nations, students from the Lewes 6th Form have charged imperviously to the semi-finals of a national tournament.
Sussex Downs College's Lewes 6th Form team are now just one game away from a dream final at the home of English rugby, Twickenham.
The youngsters has won through six rounds to get to semi-final of the Daily Mail National Vase which takes place on March 2.
The team is part of the college's rugby development course, a specialist programme which allows students to combine high standard sports coaching with their academic studies.
