Search and rescue operation off Eastbourne
A major search and rescue operation is underway this morning (Thursday) off the coast of Eastbourne.
Emergency services – including police, coastguards and lifeboat volunteers as well as the helicopter – are at the scene close to Holywell.
They are looking for a man reported missing.
No further details have been released.
