The Cricket Club are away to Otterden on Saturday starting at 2pm. On July 24 the club is away to Gills Green with a 6.15pm start.

How much better the grass cutting looks on the upper and lower greens, playing field, war memorial, Old School and children’s play area.

The grass will be cut every other Friday, except the War Memorial which will be cut every week.

The mobile library comes to the village every Tuesday. and is at Sandhurst Close from 12.30 - 1.45pm - Tanyard from 1.15 - 2.10pm; Old School, Back Road, from 2.15 - 2.40pm and Linkhill from 2.50 - 3.05pm.

Prize winning pianist Gil Jetley presents his sixth annual piano recital for the the Hospice in the Weald at the home of Gillian Davies.

The minimum donation is £13.50 with home made tea in the garden weather permitting.
