Rotary Club helps to fund CCTV
The Rotary Club of Eastbourne has helped fund additional security cameras to protect vulnerable people from drug dealers in the town.
The Matthew 25 Mission serves up to 18,000 meals per year from Brodie Hall on Seaside. Some 50 to 60 people go through the mission’s doors everyday. A £324 grant from Rotary has extended the CCTV security system - part funded by the police - from two to four cameras. The cameras outside Brodie Hall help to stop drug dealers preying on the vulnerable. They are credited for playing a major part in saving one young life.
