This Saturday May 11 in The Village Hall, Station Road the Twinning Association is holding a Barn Dance for their French visitors that are over for the weekend. Delicious food and a bar with dancing to ‘The Spinning Jenny ‘. Tickets are £10 per adult (children under 16 free) available from The Ostrich, Post Office, Busters and The Floral Boutique or ring Rosemary on 881737. Dancing starts at 7.30pm.

Robertsbridge Twinning Association will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday May 22 at The Ostrich, starting at 7.30pm. Anyone wishing to attend is most welcome. Please let the secretary, Rosemary Robbins, know if you are able to attend, she can be contacted on 881737.

May 16 Progressive Whist is starting at 7pm at Robertsbridge Village Hall. All are welcome to this fun evening.

A quick reminder that tonight 10th May is the Robertsbridge and District Archaeological Society meeting at Robertsbridge Hall starting at 7.30pm.

Tomorrow Saturday May 11th is the Robertsbridge Guides, Brownies and Rainbows Jumble Sale at the Church Hall in Fair Lane starting at 10am.
In the evening you can go Barn Dancing at Robertsbridge Hall with the Twinning Association. Starting at 7.30pm, tickets are available from the Floral Boutique, The Ostrich, The Post Office or Busters.

Or you can spend the evening at Salehurst Primary School for an evening of Gardening, raising funds for St Mary’s Church Salehurst. Tickets can be bought at the Floral Boutique, Judges or Belle Flowers.

Thursday May 16 is the next Progressive Whist evening at Robertsbridge Hall starting at 7pm, all are welcome.

Robertsbridge Bonfire Society monthly meeting is on Thursday May 16 at Robertsbridge Club starting at 8.30pm.

The Rother Valley Railway Supporters Association invite you to visit their Model Railway Show at Robertsbridge Hall on Saturday 18th and Sunday May 19. This opens at 10am until 5pm. There will be the usual display of quality layouts and a few traders. Light refreshments will be available. Adults £3, children £1.

Despite the huge upheaval at the station side site, the shop will be open for used model sales and magazines. Have a look at the new information centre and learn some of the history. You can also see the efforts being made to connect to Bodiam.

Ladies darts: On Monday[13th] we welcome Ticehurst Club and The White Hart(Netherfield) to play the final of the Team Knockout Cup.

Darts: The Mens Pairs Knockout saw Richard Hawthorne and Michael Stone reach the final. We have arranged a coach to go to Hove Dogs on Saturday 25th May 2013 leaving Robertsbridge Club at 5.30pm.

Stoolball: On Tuesday 14th May the Mixed are at home to Crowhurst and then on Thursday May 16 the Ladies are away at Hooe with both matches start at 6.45p.m.
