Roadshow for sports clubs to offer free advice

Horsham District Council, working in partnership with Active Sussex - the county's sports development hub, is coordinating a free '˜Sports Club Roadshow' which will take place at Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre on Tuesday April 19 at 6pm to 8.30pm.

This roadshow is one of nine that will be running across the county and forms part of a countywide, Sport England funded ‘Club Matters’ programme of opportunities.

It provides existing sports clubs with training and advice including top tips on how to engage new members, upskill coaches, manage volunteers and secure funding.

Keynote speaker, England cricketer Fred Bridges, will also share his experience along with other experts sharing examples of good practice and providing potential solutions to challenges sports clubs face. Refreshments will be provided.
