As well as performances from regional dance groups, the showcase will feature three short films made by young people, based around dance and broadcast online as part of Channel 4 and Arts Council England Random Acts Initiative.

Choreographers Lisa Gillam and Kate Szkolar, from Penny & Jules Dance said: “We were really proud of last year's event, and this year is set to be even more exciting. We’re counting down the days.”

Acts include Wild – a performance exploring the animalism of human nature by Brighton-based dance troupe Penny and Jules Youth.

The event is organised by a partnership between South East Dance, Penny and Jules Dance, Brighton and Hove High School and One Dance UK.
