Public urged to see display

Cllr Cunard manages the Regis Centre where the display is being held tomorrow and Sunday.

He said the event was one of the most important occasions in the town's recent history.

'We have to look at the effects of having one of these out of town stores.

'An Asda store could have a lot of far-reaching effects '“ not just in a wonderful new store but also taking people out of the town centre,' he commented at Monday's town council meeting.

'If there is a lot of building work in the town for the regeneration, they might bypass Bognor and go straight up to Asda.

'Asda already own the land but they have not put in a planning application.'
