Prince Charles visiting Wiston today (Friday July 18)
Prince Charles is attending a conference today at Wiston House near Steyning calling for radical action to save threatened meadows.
Organised by Plantlife, the Rare Breeds Survival Trust and The Wildlife Trusts, the event will push to reverse the loss of the UK’s meadow heritage.
Steyning Primary School pupils will be in attendance to participate in a Countryside Classroom ‘Chef on the Farm’ day. This initiative aims to give children an outdoor learning experience which helps them to connect with where their food comes from.
