Players line up war timetribute showat village hall

ICKLESHAM Players are joining forces with Rye based Acting Up to put on a World War I tribute show called ‘Smile Boys That’s The Style’.

It will be performed at Icklesham Memorial Hall on Friday July 11 at 7.30pm and on Saturday 12 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

This will be followed by three shows in Rye the following weekend on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon and evening.

Written and directed by Dell Smith, who wrote and directed the last pantomime, it tells the story of Burt, a young lad who excitedly signs up to go to war but finds it far from exciting.
