Plans submitted for 20 new homes near Horsham

Horsham District Council has received a planning application to build 20 new homes between Horsham and Colgate.

The housing, including eight affordable homes, would be built off Forest Road, on land west of Pipers Hollow.

Plans include the demolition of existing buildings and structures.

As well as the homes, associated roads, parking and landscaping will be created, along with new access off Forest Road and closure of existing access.

The council said the proposal ‘does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area’ and the development would affect a public right of way.

The application number is DC/15/1468.
