Organisers believe a record-breaking 43,000 music fans flocked to the town to enjoy the 21st annual Rox Music and Arts Festival.

Festival co-founder Steve Goodheart said: “It was really good. For us it ticked all the boxes.

“We have had tremendous feedback from the audience and the artists. It was a phenomenal success for Bognor Regis.

“Everyone was at their best, the crowds and the artists, it was superb. Having it on the first weekend of the summer holidays was a good choice, and we hope to be able to repeat that.

“We had a brilliant mixture of the young and old all enjoying themselves.
