Don’t forget: On Friday May 17 the Pett W.I. meeting at 2:30pm in Pett Village Hall. This is the Resolution Meeting, which this year is about the decline of our high streets. There will also be a bring and buy sale as well as the usual delicious tea and the visitors are always welcome.

Church Services on Sunday May 19 – Book of Common Prayer, St Nicholas, Pett Level at 8am with Kay Burnett. There will be a Sunday Service at the Methodist Chapel at 10:45am.

POPP on Tuesday May 21 will feature Keith Osborne and Music for Health. The session runs from 10.30am to 2.30pm and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.

Also on Tuesday May 21 Pett Parish Council will meet in Pett Village Hall at 7.30pm.

Are there any great treasures to be found at Pett Level? Well Sunday May 26 may be your chance to find out. The Pett Level Preservation Trust is holding a Treasure Hunt on that day. Meeting at the finger post at the turning into Toot Rock off Sea Road at 11am, enjoy some family fun at just £5 per question sheet. All adults must be accompanied by a child.

Pett Older Persons Project (POPP) is holding Open gardens on Thursday June 20 from 10.30am to 3pm. There will be at least seven gardens open and possibly more, ranging form the ‘immaculate’ through ‘I like gardening but don’t get a lot of time’ to ‘I wish this was mine!’

A one off fee of £4 will gain entry to all gardens, starting in whichever order you want. There will also be stalls including plant, cake, tombola, white elephant, etc. Further details will appear in the June edition of Pett Parish News.
