She will receive the Ness Award for ‘the popularisation of geography through her writing on biodiversity and the relation between humans and the environment.’
Isabella, who with her husband Sir Charles Burrell, has spearheaded a world-renowned rewilding project at the Knepp Estate, is among 23 people or organisations honoured by the society for their outstanding contribution to geography.
