Hundreds of Eastbourne residents gathered at the pier last night (Tuesday, October 5) to attend a vigil for Sabina Nessa. People were encouraged to bring flowers and candles as they paid respects to the London school teacher who died in September. The vigil included speeches on male violence against women, a Muslim prayer and finished with a minute’s silence. An Eastbourne man has been charged with her murder.
