There are major traffic jams on the A21 in Hastings as the road is closed both ways due to an earlier car crash and fallen power cables.
According to AA Travelwatch, the A21 Ebdens Hill is closed both ways between Moat Lane and A28 Westfield Lane.
A detour is in operation, affecting the 349 bus service.
Users of the bus service are advised to go to Westfield or Wheel Lane.
Sussex Police have been approached for a comment.
