The event was well attended by parents and their children, friends and supporters of the school and village residents. It was a lovely sunny day and there was much to entertain, including stalls, activities and performances by pupils of Peasmarsh School and local organisations. The fete raised over a thousand pounds, which will be invested in equipment to support children’s learning. Thanks go to all those who generously supported.

Earlier in the week, Year 6 pupils at the school celebrated excellent results in their SATs, with pupils attaining 100% Level 4 in Reading and Writing and 88% in Maths. This improvement in results places the school in the top 10% in the County for value added.

Chair of Governors, Paul Stout, said “It’s been a super end to the year with some excellent results and plenty of fun. A great deal has happened in six months.

Everyone has worked so very hard to get to this point and we’ve had great support from parents during this time of transition.

The children have a happy and exciting learning environment within our lovely school and we look forward to the new academic year and the opening of our Forest School”.

The school wishes to congratulate all of the pupils on their amazing success and to thank parents for their support and commitment throughout the year.
