Peasmarsh

Peasmarsh Bowls club news from Joyce: On Monday May 27 Peasmarsh played against Rye for the Pelsham Trophy. Peasmarsh beat Rye and won the Trophy! Then on Saturday June 1 Peasmarsh played at home for the Hundred Up, which was won by Julie Masters and Derrick Piggott; congratulations to them.

The Rye and District Association of the National Trust have asked me to include the following: On Saturday June 22 there will be a summer picnic at Smallhythe Place from 5.00pm followed at 6.00pm by a performance in the Barn Theatre of ‘Celebrating Shakespeare’, a light hearted romp with the bard devised and directed by Peter Mould. It promises to be an amusing and entertaining event. Tickets at £12.00 must be ordered from Ros Adkins by returning the order form included in the last News letter or by calling 01797 253763. They can also be purchased at Smallhythe Place reception desk prior to the event. As numbers are limited it is important to get your order in now.
