WOOD: Concrete instead of wood

WE shall reminisce fondly about the wooden mountains on our beach.

In a few years' time, almost a mile of Worthing beach will be smothered permanently by concrete.

Our town councillors plan to give or sell our seaside to developers to build blocks of flats and leisure facilities.

Goodbye sea views, goodbye, pleasant walks.

I thought the natural seashore belonged to the people.

Apparently, not when big fat profits can be made.
