No fault of staff

We have felt comfortable that door staff do their job to the best of their ability and are a trained and responsible team, many working there for many years when its reputation, under different management, was excellent.

The issues presented to the council by the police are founded and are sadly a part of our drinking culture.

I do not feel replacement of staff at Thursdays to be the answer to this present problem.

Systems have failed to be implemented even though they have been requested to be addressed over many months by the police and council.

Door staff at Thursdays have also been left without support and confidence that reports of violent behaviour be reported to the police in the correct way.

Staff should be given the opportunity to remain under new management – after all, they’re not to blame.
